There are many fellowship opportunities:

The McKnight Doctoral Fellowship offers up to five years of funding support for newly enrolled African American and Hispanic graduate students who intend to seek a Ph.D. degree
The McKnight Dissertation Fellowship provides up to one year of stipend support to graduate students working to complete dissertations.
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship offers a a three-year annual stipend of $34,000 for graduate students in STEM fields.
The FSU Legacy Fellowship offers an additional $10,000 for the first year of graduate school for excellent PhD students.
The Fulbright Doctoral Dissertation fellowship offers research, study and teaching opportunities in over 140 countries to recent graduates and graduate students.
Department of Defense-National Defense and Science Engineering Fellowship aims to increase the number of U.S. citizens and nationals trained in science and engineering disciplines of military importance
P.E.O. Scholar Awards - For women graduate students within two years of completing her PhD, with one year of academic work remaining.
DAAD Scholarships and Grants - Graduate fellowships for travel to Germany.

Awards:

The FSU Graduate Student Research and Creativity Award is a $1,000 award to top PhD students.
